Why choose our martial arts school near me?
Our family-friendly program is led by Grand Master Chris Yaeger, a Hall of Famer endorsed by the Pasadena Police Department and SWAT Team. You learn real-world skills you can use outside the gym. Classes focus on respect, kindness, and safety. You will find new friends and practice the buddy system to keep each other safe.
Programs for all ages
Kids Program
Children learn to stand tall and speak with confidence. We cover anti-bullying moves, social skill drills, and simple self-defense techniques. Role play helps kids handle tough moments at school or in the park. One day, a child from Bayshore Gardens told us, “I feel brave enough to face bullies now.”
Teens Program
Teens get self-defense training for real life. We teach de-escalation, fitness, and how to resist peer pressure. A teen from San Jacinto shared how they calmed a tense hallway fight by using calm words and learned moves. The buddy system means they never walk alone.
Adult Program
Adults learn situational awareness for work, travel, and home. Our drills help you react fast if you’re in a parking lot near Lomax or on a late-night drive through Old South. You will boost fitness, focus, and know how to stay safe on the street.
Anti-bullying focus
Bullying can happen anywhere. Our Break Free From Bullying program has two steps: recognize the warning signs and respond with calm strength. We use role play and buddy drills so no one faces a bully alone. Students from Fairmont Park to Meridiana practice these steps each week.
What you will learn
- Age-appropriate self-defense moves
- Assertive communication skills
- Anti-bullying tactics and peer support
- Sparring practice with safety gear
- Situational awareness in real places
- Confidence strategies and discipline
A day at our school
You drive in from Sylvan Beach or Bayshore Gardens, sign in, tie your belt, and warm up. Group drills teach you to work together. You learn new moves from Yaeger’s Fighting System. Classes end with cool-down stretches, a tip on street safety, and a big high five.
Homework help and after school program
Our after-school program gives kids a safe spot to finish homework before practice. Parents from Fairmont Park say it adds structure and cuts down on screen time. Kids learn moves, make friends, and build study habits all in one place.
Weekend events and seminars
Each month we host special seminars and fun tournaments. Guest trainers cover topics like night-time street safety near Sylvan Beach boardwalk or safe driving habits. Tournaments let students test skills in a lively but safe setting.
