Inside Our Karate Classroom
Step onto clean mats in a safe, family-friendly space. You will meet students from Kemah, Seabrook, Nassau Bay, and Webster. Mornings and evenings, our instructors show you simple warmups, stretches, and basic stances. We keep groups small so each person gets help.
What Is Yaeger’s Fighting System?
We blend seven martial arts styles into one real-world system. You will try kicks from Taekwondo, throws from Jiu-Jitsu, striking from Kickboxing, and more. We teach speed, power, and how to protect yourself on the street. We also hold values like respect, focus, and courtesy.
Real Self-Defense Skills That Work
Karate is more than fancy moves. You learn how to break free when someone grabs your arm. You learn safe zones, how to keep a mugger at bay, and how to use de-escalation with your voice. If you feel a threat in a parking lot or near a bus stop, you can stay calm and get away.
A Short Story from One of Our Students
Last month, a student named Anna from Taylor Lake Village joined our after-school class. She was shy and worried about kids teasing her at school in Friendswood. After a few lessons, she learned a block and a kick. One day, a classmate tried to snatch her bag. Anna used her wrist release and kept her space. She stood up and told the bully to stop, and the teasing ended.
Programs for Every Age
Our karate classes in Clear Lake, TX welcome all ages and skill levels. No experience needed.
Kids Program
Kids learn to set goals, respect others, and build confidence. We have the Break Free from Bullying program. We teach how to use a firm voice, seek help from a buddy, and walk away safely.
Teens Program
Teens work on fitness, peer pressure skills, and de-escalation. They practice tracking their surroundings and handling real-life role play. Many of our teens come from Dickinson and Webster and share how training helped them in tough hallways.
Adult Program
Adults focus on situational awareness, street safety, and real self-defense. We use drills that mirror real threats like grabs or surprise attacks. You also boost strength and clear your mind after a long day at work in League City or Nassau Bay.

Anti-Bullying Focus
Bullying can happen anywhere from school to the playground near Kemah. Our Break Free from Bullying workshops teach practical ways to stand up without violence. Kids and teens learn assertive talk, friendly body language, and how to ask an adult for help. We run group drills with a buddy system so no one feels alone.
Community and Events
We host weekend tournaments, special seminars, and belt testing events. Families from Seabrook, Clear Lake Shores, and El Lago come together for fun and safe competition. You can try sparring in a controlled setting or watch a self-defense demo by Grand Master Chris Yaeger.
