Feel Safe with Real-World Training
Bullying can make kids feel alone. At Yaeger Self Defense of America, we teach moves that help a child stay safe. They learn to see a threat, speak with a strong voice, and get help from a friend. Each step uses real life practice. Our dojo becomes a safe spot where children build trust and respect.
One afternoon, Maria, age ten, felt scared after a tough day at Oak Island Elementary. Some kids teased her every time she walked down the hall. She joined our class and met a partner named Luis. They learned to use eye contact and to hold a space with their hands. In a role-play, Maria said “Stop” with a calm voice. She felt her heart beat fast but knew the words helped. The next week at school, she found a bully but this time she used her skills. Maria stood strong and walked away. Her confidence grew every day.
What Makes Our Anti-bullying Program Different
Our program uses Yaeger’s Fighting System (YFS). It blends seven martial arts styles. That means your child learns many ways to protect and respect. We teach modern moves and old values like honor and kindness. Each class starts with a warm welcome. We end with a group chat about what we learned. This helps kids share, learn social skills, and build trust with each other.
